Maura Milan is a Filipino-American writer who spent her childhood growing up on an unhealthy dose of 90’s action movies. She took her love for all things genre straight to USC School of Cinematic Arts, and since then, has placed a number of short films all over the country. She’s written on the NATIONAL TREASURE reboot for Disney+ and has developed female-fronted genre projects with C2 Motion Picture Group, Zoic Studios, and Bazelevs. Maura is also the author of the YA sci-fi IGNITE THE STARS duology and writer of an ongoing comic series AN OUTCAST FROM ANOTHER WORLD on Tapas. Maura now lives in Los Angeles, where she spends her free time watching K-Dramas and anime while hanging out with her dog Thor, who she believes should become a professional comedian.
