My name is Francisca, but I prefer to be called Fran. I was born in Viña del Mar, Chile, but grew up in the Aconcagua Valley, near the Andes mountain range, surrounded by vineyards. In 2019, I won an award in the Chilean contest Premio a la Creación Literaria Joven “Roberto Bolaño” with an epistolary novel of Historical Fiction. I work as an English and Spanish translator. I’m a film enthusiast, I love Lana Del Rey’s music, and I’m very bad at talking about myself.
