Alexandra Aller is a born and bred Queens, New Yorker and Puerto Rican-American multimedia writer. She began her career as a songwriter, signed to Sony RED and APA, where she released bodies of musical work and adjacent writing such as a poetry zine and comic book. Her self-published work, Building You Up, and its corresponding original musical soundtrack, has been featured in V magazine, CW’s hit TV show Nancy Drew, in 2024 placed as a finalist in the Filmmatic Pitch Now Screenplay Season 6, Quarterfinalist in the ScreenCraft Cinematic Book, and Semifinalist in the Season 7 Inroads Fellowship. At present, she has been onboarded to write the Beat portion of a documentary script being produced by a major post-production house, works with Pulitzer Finalist, Alexandra Vassilaros, at Make Meaning Workshop, a grief & crisis writing workshop, and offers astrological readings. She has cultivated a community of 16k followers on TikTok.
